Country Line Dancing & Lessons

Date: Every Thursday

Location: Mason VFW Post #7309 (1243 Hull Rd. just south of Mason)

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Description: Get your family and friends together and learn how to country style line dance! Cost is $5 per person. Line dancing will begin after class. Cash bar and grille will be available on location. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Shepherd Arts & Crafts Show

Date: November 17, 2018

Location: Shepherd High School (100 E. Hall St. in Shepherd)

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Description: Head out to Shepherd and check out their annual arts and crafts show! There will be over 60 vendors and a wide variety of merchandise. Admission is free and there will be raffle drawings all day! All proceeds of this event support the Shepherd BPA. For more information, check out their Facebook page.

From parades to light shows and pictures with Santa, there's a little something for everyone. Hastings Christmas Parade

Jingle All the Way 5K

Date: December 1, 2018

Location: Starts at Max & Emily's (125 E. Broadway St. in Mt. Pleasant)

Time: 8:45 a.m.

Description: This local race helps raise money for the Isabella County Toys for Tots. The 5k is a walk/run course, and the 5-mile course is run-only. Participants are welcome to bring their pets and strollers along as well! Children may also participate in a candy crawl that measures roughly 200 yards.

Michigan State University Arts & Crafts Holiday Show

Date: December 1-2, 2018

Location: MSU Union (Corner of Grand River Avenue and Abbot Road in East Lansing)

Time: (Dec. 1) 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., (Dec 2) 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Description: This year's show will host over 120 crafters and artists along with new and returning vendors. At this event you will find a broad range of handmade items such as candles, furniture, jewelry, home decor, aromatherapy, clothes, toys, paintings, photography, pottery and so much more! 100% of the fees collected from the application process go to the MSU University Activities Board (UAB) for events for the students.
