Country Line Dancing & Lessons

Date: Every Thursday

Location: Mason VFW Post #7309 (1243 Hull Rd. just south of Mason)

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Description: Get your family and friends together and learn how to country style line dance! Cost is $5 per person. Line dancing will begin after class. Cash bar and grille will be available on location. Don’t miss out on the fun!

2019 Local Farmer's Markets

Description: Join the fun at your local community fairs! Enjoy these family-friendly events that feature a wide array of activities such as carnival rides, tractor pulls, farm animals, concessions and much, much more! View the list below to find your local farmer's market dates and times.

44th Annual Rural Urban Day

Date: July 18, 2019

Location: Gratiot County Fair for Youth Fairgrounds  (706 S. Lincoln Ave. in Alma)

Time: 4:30 p.m.

Description: Enjoy a steak fry and picnic in honor of Gratiot County's farming heritage. Dinner runs from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. which includes steak, beans, sweet corn, bread, pickles and milk representing a large group of farm products that are produced in Gratiot County. This event will host activities fun for the whole family! The Farm Family and Farm Business of the Year will also be presented. New this year: an inaugural concert featuring the Tallon Weatherby Band sponsored by us, Commercial Bank. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event. Each ticket covers admission to both the dinner and concert and can be purchased through Commercial Bank and other local businesses.

Danish Festival

Date: August 15 - 28, 2019 (Every third weekend in August)

Location: Downtown Greenville (203 S. Lafayette St.)

Description: Celebrate Greenville's Danish heritage with authentic Danish food, a Hans Christian Andersen play, the Grand Dansk Parade, Family Fun Day, Fireworks, Lego Contest and more! The Danish Festival also hosts one of Michigan's largest outdoor arts & crafts fairs! Go out and become a "Dane for a Day!"
