Country Line Dancing & Lessons

Bar D Country Dance Lessons and Mason VFW present Country Style Line Dance and Lessons!  Classes are held every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at VFW Post #7309 on Hull Road just south of Mason.  Dancing will take place after the class, with a cash bar and grille on site.  Admission is just $5 per person.  Don't miss out on the fun!

Heritage Village Trick-or-Treat

Everyone is invited to dress for the holiday and enjoy a hayride, cider, donuts and trick-or-treating throughout Heritage Village on Montcalm Community College’s Greenville campus. The event will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Annual St. Louis Apple Pie Sale

The St. Louis Sports Boosters puts on an apple pie sale every fall to raise funds for the school athletic teams. With the help of many awesome volunteers from our community, over 2,500 pies are made and sold at this event!

The event will be held at the T.S. Nurnberger Middle School on November 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Crumb and plain crust apple pies can be purchased for $9.00 each.

'Tis the Season for Winter Holiday Events

Our communities are so festive during the holidays! As the weather gets colder and the snow starts falling, our communities come together for fun events for the whole family. From parades to light shows and pictures with Santa, there's a little something for everyone. With so much to choose from, we've made a list of local events taking place to make your holiday planning a little easier. Bundle up and enjoy the town this winter season! 

Silver Bells in the City
November 17, (Time TBD) | Lansing
Lansing will glow with thousands of lights for their traditional Silver Bells in the City celebration. Come kick-off the holiday season by enjoying some of Lansing's traditions including the Electric Light Parade, lighting the State Christmas Tree and fireworks over the Capitol dome.

Mason’s Holiday Celebration – 17th Annual Lighted Parade and Tree Lighting
November 24, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. | Downtown Mason
Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the annual tree lighting ceremony, followed by a lighted parade, MHS Santa Band and visits with Santa for the kids!

Winter Glow Event
December 2, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. | Downtown East Lansing
East Lansing’s free, outdoor winter festival. A wide variety of fun-filled seasonal activities for the whole family!

St. Louis Small Town Family Christmas
December 7, 6 p.m. | Downtown St. Louis
Enjoy a lighted Christmas parade followed by a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
