Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

06/19/2020 Update:

Our branch lobbies will be reopening! 
On Monday, June 22, 2020, all Commercial Bank locations will be returning to normal business hours, with both drive-thru and lobby services available at limited capacity to serve you.

At Commercial Bank, we always put our customers, communities and employees first, and that has never been truer than it is now. To continue providing you with the best banking experience, we have expanded our safety measures to do our part in keeping us all healthy and safe.

Our face coverings won't hide how happy we are to see you again!
Our staff will be wearing face coverings when medically possible, and/or be positioned behind a protective Plexiglas guard. For the safety of our staff, we ask that you also wear a face covering when medically possible. If you arrive at a branch without a face covering, one will be provided before entry. We also ask that you conduct a self-health screening before entering a branch. If you answer “yes” to any of the screening questions, you will kindly be directed to utilize one of our other banking services (ATM, Drive-Thru, Online Banking, Mobile App or Telephone Banking).

Increased cleaning
We have established a deep-cleaning routine for all areas within the branch. Our staff will be washing their hands frequently, as well as disinfect highly-touched areas and items such as doors, ATMs, drive-thru containers and buttons, Plexiglas guards, personal work surfaces and equipment, pens. etc. Our branch lobbies will also have hand sanitizer dispensers available for your convenience.

Our lobbies will be operating at limited capacity.
We kindly ask that you limit who enters our lobbies to only those completing transactions. To help us stay a safe, 6ft apart, we will have floor stickers as a guide. If capacity has been reached, we ask that you ring the doorbell and wait to enter the lobby until space is available.

Help us all stay healthy.
If you or someone in your household is sick or experiencing any symptoms, we would be more than happy to assist you through other banking channels until you feel better. We welcome you to use our free, 24-hour MobileOnline and Telephone Banking tools, or give our Customer Service line a call at 800-547-8531 during normal business hours.

03/23/2020 Update:

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has now issued a "stay home" order to try to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Michigan, effective tonight at midnight. This order draws residents to stay at home except for essential purposes and non-essential businesses to refrain from reporting to work.

As an essential business, it is our commitment to you to remain open and provide you with the safe and efficient financial services you need during this fast-evolving situation surrounding this pandemic. Commercial Bank has been recognized as one of the strongest banks in the nation, so you can rest assured knowing that your money is safe, FDIC insured, and that it will always be accessible to you.

03/16/2020 Update:

For the safety and protection of our customers and staff, all lobbies will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. WE WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR BUSINESS via drive-thru during this time. Appointments and other banking services will also be available upon request.

Due to the recent conditions surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Commercial Bank will be temporarily closing the lobbies at each of our banking locations until further notice. Drive-thru service will continue to stay open where available.

During this time, we encourage our customers to sign up for our online and mobile banking tools. These services allow you the convenience to review your accounts, transfer money, pay bills, find ATMs and make check deposits anywhere, any time. If you would like assistance signing up, we would be more than happy to help. The Commercial Bank Mobile app is available for free in both the App Store as well as the Google Play Store.
