Casual for a Cause 2021

You choose where our Casual for a Cause donations go this year!


Each month, Commercial Bank participates in a Casual for a Cause campaign to support the efforts of local nonprofit organizations in the communities we serve. Any non-political charitable organization with a qualifying IRS 501(c)(3) designation is eligible as part of this campaign.

The monthly Casual for a Cause program by Commercial Bank will award Facebook nominated qualified organizations a donation as follows:

  1. Employee-funded Casual for a Cause donations for their designated month.

In 2021, the monthly outreach program will operate as follows:

  1. Non-profit must be nominated on the Commercial Bank Facebook Page, which is posted each month. Nominations may also be submitted in person at any Commercial Bank branch.
  2. Nominations are opened on Monday of the 2nd week of the month at 9AM EST, and end at 11:59 PM on that following Saturday.
  3. The voting round will begin on the Monday of the 3rd week of the month at 9AM EST, and end at 11:59 PM on that following Saturday.
  4. An organization is limited to one award per calendar year.
  5. Commercial Bank retains the right to 'approve' or disapprove' of any displays, text, writing, logos or references to the organization that would be presented for support or placement on Commercial Bank associated sites or locations.
  6. Charity or organization must have a qualifying IRS 501(c)(3) designation to be eligible to win.
  7. Commercial Bank reserves the right to change or cancel this program at any time.

Award determination:

  1. Based upon votes placed in support of the nomination on our Facebook polls.
  2. Vote count is based upon votes received at 11:59 PM EST on the Saturday of the voting round.
  3. Ultimate decision of monthly winners is determined by the management or staff of Commercial Bank, and will be approved or disapproved within 72 hours of contest's end.
  4. Once votes are finalized, the month’s winner will be notified to set date and time of giveaway.

Commercial Bank is hoping that this effort will allow a variety of groups and organizations to get recognized for their hard work and dedication to our community.
