Annie Kidder

Tell us about you:

I am originally from Holt but I've spent most of my life in the Greater Lansing area. After my family left the area for several years, I returned in 2018 as a freshmen at Michigan State University where I got my BS in History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science. 

What do you love most about your job?

My favorite part of my job is definitely working with customers! I love being behind the teller line and being able to chat with different customers throughout the day.

Community Involvement:

I volunteer for the Mason Public School Foundation's 5k every year and have a ton of fun cheering on the runners while directing traffic. I've previously volunteered in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Michigan as well as nonprofit hospice care. I am eager to get more involved in community events in the Greater Lansing area.

Why do you love working for a community bank?

My favorite part of working for a community bank is being able to develop a personal relationship with our customers. I also love getting to know my coworkers, even those at further away branches. There is something special about working with people who recognize you and interact with you regularly that you often don't experience with bigger institutions, both with customers and coworkers.
