Keith Harris

Tell us about you 

I have lived in West Michigan for the majority of my life with many of those years in community banking. I am married with three wonderful stepchildren and stepgrandchildren as well that keep me busy. We enjoy exploring the many things that West Michigan has to offer along with frequent trips throughout the state. I also enjoy golfing, bad yard birding, and studying the lighthouses on the Great Lakes. Our newest addition to our family last year was a mini bernadoodle who has enriched our life termendously. 

What do you love most about your job? 

Meeting with prospective customers to learn more about their background, history and needs.  Work to uncover their “pain points” and allow our team to provide solutions to assist in meeting their goals.  This would be same in building those key networking relationships with our trusted referral partners within the communities we serve.  

Community Involvement 

I volunteer in assisting elderly senior neighbors while training our dog as a registered K9 therapy dog.  I remain active in local chamber of commerce community outreach programs and currently serve as the Past Chair of a fine arts foundation connected to a local public school district.

Why do you love working for a community bank? 

We find solutions for customers within our own community bank footprint.  It provides us the ability to work closely with our team of professionals to find those solutions, re-invest into the communities we serve and demonstrate our leadership role that is expected of us.  Our platform affords us the ability to have that human touch almost immediately while still offering secure technology for our customers to remain competitive in the marketplace.
