I started my banking career in 1992 and have worked in several positions within the bank. I started working in the loan servicing department in 1995 and became a loan officer in 2012. I was born and raised in Barry County and have enjoyed raising my family here as well. I received my degrees from Kellogg Community College in Business Management and Accounting. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking and traveling as much as possible.
What I love most about my job is the people that I get to work with. Each client that I work with has specific needs and wants that they are looking for and I can sit down with them to determine a clear picture of what type, and what loan amount is realistic. I am able to help them to consider all the options that we have available to meet their needs. My goal is to provide excellent customer service to all of my clients and to make the borrowing process as seamless as possible to meet their financial goals.
Over the years I have been involved with many community organizations. I am currently on the Board of Deirectos for the Hastings Kiwanis Club. I enjoy volunteering in the community and love to help out where I am able.
Working for a community bank provides the ability to originate loans and service the loan for my clients for the duration of the loan. Being local allows the clients to call me direct, email me, or stop into the office to go over any questions that they have. A community bank allows for a more personal connection, as we typically live and work in the same community as our clients.
